Stromlinien bursts into TAB Karaka Millins 2YO calculations

A perfectly timed win on debut at Ellerslie has seen the Andrew Forsman-trained 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐧 (Almanzor) burst into the 2026 TAB Karaka Millions 2YO considerations.

Purchased by his trainer and Andy Williams from Elsdon Park at the 2025 @karakachat Book One Yearling Sale, 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐧 had previously had one trial start in September for a second, but looked every bit the professional under Craig Grylls, guiding her from last on the turn to a 0.2 length win over Singletary.

Not only could 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐧 pose as an exciting horse for her owners Ben Kwok, M Williams, P Kay, K Clarke & G Hatwell in the 2026 TAB Karaka Millions, but she could also represent Elsdon Park’s fourth graduate to qualify for the feature two-year-old race!

𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐧 ‘s Savabeel dam 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 was a stakes winner herself and struck five wins (two at two) up to 1400m. She has now had one to race for one winner.
